“I honestly don’t mind Carole Middelton. So she wants to be involved in her first grandchild’s life, plenty of new parents get help from their own parents. As someone raised with a grandparent at home I find it outrageous this is seen as some power move by Carole. She’s basically a nanny that shares DNA with the child. “I don’t think Queen Elizabeth has a problem with Catherine. People complain that Kate breaks protocol too often, but in reality, the person with the final say on protocol is HM. No one else. If Kate’s hemlines were really too short, HM would have either said something herself, or relayed that message to her through someone.
